Schedule Conflict and Adjacent Event Indicators
FluentCase helps users spot scheduling problems by showing conflict and adjacent-schedule indicators for events and tasks.
What the Indicator Means
The indicator helps answer two questions before you save or review a scheduled item:
- Does this item overlap another event or task?
- Is there another scheduled item close enough in time that staff should be aware of it?
Adjacent items are not always conflicts. They are warnings that the schedule may require travel time, preparation time, or reassignment.
Where You May See It
Conflict and adjacent-schedule information may appear while editing or reviewing:
- Calendar events
- Tasks with due dates or times
- Items assigned to one or more users
- Matter-specific scheduling screens
How to Use It
When a warning appears:
- Review the nearby or overlapping items.
- Check assigned staff.
- Consider travel, hearing, or preparation time.
- Adjust the time, date, or assignee if needed.
