Print & Mail Address Validation
When a Print & Mail request includes a cover page, FluentCase checks the ZIP code in the return address and addressee before submission. This is a ZIP-code lookup, not a full postal-deliverability check.
Validation Icons
Address fields may show inline feedback while you enter addresses:
- A warning triangle when validation fails
- No warning while the ZIP code has not yet been checked or when the ZIP code lookup succeeds
Validation is asynchronous, so feedback may appear shortly after you stop typing.
What FluentCase Validates
The current validation confirms whether FluentCase can find the ZIP code from the address block in its ZIP-code reference data. It does not confirm that the street address, suite number, recipient name, or organization is deliverable. Make sure each address includes enough information for mailing:
- Recipient or organization name
- Street address
- City
- State
- ZIP code

Override Validation
If FluentCase cannot confirm the ZIP code for one or both addresses, it shows Override Validation. Check it only when you have verified the address manually and want to proceed despite the warning.
Common reasons to override:
- The ZIP code is correct but the lookup did not recognize it
- The address format prevents FluentCase from extracting the ZIP code
- The recipient provided the exact address and you want to preserve it
Practical Tips
- Put apartment, suite, or unit numbers on the street line.
- Use standard state abbreviations.
- Avoid extra notes in the address block.
- Confirm ZIP codes with the recipient when validation warns.
